Applications of Computers to Educational Purposes

If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
ABOUT THIS COURSE
The primary goal of ED 325 is to prepare teaching credential candidates to evaluate and use technology to support student learning. Throughout this course, you will learn how to locate select, adapt, evaluate and implement technology tools for the secondary classroom.
ABOUT TEACHING AND TECHNOLOGY
As you know, technology is ever-changing, which means that teaching with it and teaching about it is, too. Our goal isn't to just replace how we've always taught with a flashy new tech tool, but transform students' learning through critically curated resources.
"It is not that I'm so smart. But I stay with the questions much longer." - Albert Einstein
“Once you have learned to ask questions – relevant and appropriate and substantial questions – you have learned how to learn and no one can keep you from learning whatever you want or need to know..” - Neil Postman
